Question Wheel scraping against car?

I hear a noise backing out my car out of a parking spot, then again when I pulled forward. So I load some stuff in the car, pull it back into a spot and I get out and I can smell burned rubber. I look at the car can't see anything, so I go back into work. Well when I leave for the day I am driving down the access road and can see smoke in my rearview mirror, it was coming from my tire, apparently the tire is now scraping against the wheel-well So I am wondering what is wrong with my car. I have heard it could be bearings, a tie rod, or the suspension. Anyone with any car knowledge can you give me an opinion on what it might be and what it might cost to fix it?!?!?!

Realistically you need to get this looked at for tire clearance, maybe a bulge in the tire, loose bearing, bent suspension component, all guess work from here.

Re: Wheel scraping against car?

It is a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with about 42,000 miles on it.
