I'll bet that car was made on this day in 1996. That one only had a 10 year life span and it's over.

Sorry to say, it's time for a new car.

Did you try swapping the power distribution relays around to see if one is dead?

Re: help help help

First you need to run a OBD II check on it. Maybe you can borrow one or something. Check all fuses. These cars are electric, one fuse blown can cause it not to start. Don't listen to the other guy. If it ran just a little while ago it will run agian. Cars don't break overnight.

Yeah, don't listen to the only one of three or four on this board that actually knows this car.
This one DOES break overnight!

Re: help help help

I did not say it could not break overnight. I said that if it happened suddenly without warning it has to be somehting fixable. Something usually pretty easy. I have bought lots of cars that something happened suddenly and the owner abandoned it, I wa la fixed it. Usually somehting with fuel or spark. Nothing like the engine siezing. However, the Continental is a piece of crap. I paid 25$ for a nissan sentra that suddenly would not start. The computer was inop and I put a computerless distributor in it and drove it 2 years and 30K miles.

Yeah, that's why we need to first look at the power dist. relays on this car.
