Buick with a host of problems!!!

Whats really good?
I own a 1994, four cycl. My engine is severely shaking and stalling as a result of it. I replaced the torque control arm and it still shakes the same, I don't belive that it is the trans mount,

Heres the scenario...
the car has been sitting for 18 mo.
so far I have done the following:
changed oil, spark plugs, all filters, carb cleaned, battery.

I have even taken the liberty of driving the car long enough to see other minor electrical problems. Can anyone explain this deadly engine shake? I have listened to many opinoins talking about chaining it down but that isn't very intellegent. Maybe someone on here knows what else may be the problem. It shakes more and more the slower you go, and even worse when you hit the brakes... any help would be greatly appreciated thanks a bunch AF

Is this a misfire, 1 dead cyl on a 4 will cause what you describe, kill one cylinder at a time and see if you can pinpoint the suspect cylinder when the engine shake doesn't change.

Re: Buick with a host of problems!!!

okay that makes plenty of sense, especially since I have a bad plug and there was and possibly still oil in there I'll remove that plug, replace it and see what happens...
