Wave 1/24 Scuderia Italia Ferrari 192
Hi guys,
One of these just ended up on ebay. Anyone know much about them? Are they a good kit? The item no. is 280012823237 (sorry don't kow how to copy a link from ebay as it is 20 lines long!). Cheers |

Re: Wave 1/24 Scuderia Italia Ferrari 192
Wave was a very good quality resin kit maker.
So...this kit is a resin curbside kit, if that's what you want it's great.

Re: Wave 1/24 Scuderia Italia Ferrari 192
Hello,
I had one several years ago, but sold it to a friend. It is not a bad kit. Nice castings, Hasegawa tires, decent decals. Keep in mind that it was one of the earlier Japanese multimedia kits, and so has no photo-etch parts. All the parts are either resin or white metal. I have built a few Wave kits, and again, they will build nicely, but some of the pieces that say, S27 provides in P/E or as machined items, were white metal on the Wave kit and so not as well rendered as more modern kits. Then again, where else are you going to find a 1/24 Dallara? HTH, Michael |
