Drive Belt Problems

I am having trouble changing the drive belt on my wife's 02 corolla. its not even close to fitting. im using 25-060-744 part number. I even took the tensioner off and i am still not close, am i missing something? She has a 02 Toy Cor w/ ac.

Was the belt mismarked?

im dont think it is, is there a trick to it or some thing

Can you get the old belt back on? Did you compare the new belt to the old belt? Do you have a diagram showing the correct routing of the belt?
