Re: 99 altima speakers

i have a 96 and those sixes will fit in the rear deck and the door holes, if u get 6x9's they wont fit in either however i got some in my rear deck by building wood blocks to raise them up two inches and allow them to fit in perfectly. if you need pics let me know

Re: 99 altima speakers

heres some pics of how they are in now.

i do not have any pictures of how to take the rear seats out but ill try my best to walk you through it. it is surprisingly easy. There are two bolts right underneath the seat that sit inbetween your legs if you were sitting in the rear seats. they are easily acceses and easily visible if you just look below the coushin. undo those two and pull out the bottom of the seat, it should just slide. doing this will reveal two more bolts holding the back of the seat in, as well as all your spare change youve lost over the years. Undo these two bolts then lift up then out to get the back of the seat out, after the bolts are undone you must lift up because of the clips holding the seat on. finally you have the rear deck. you need to first unclip the plug to the brake light, i believe that you can access that from the trunk. then i believe you pull the brake light up and either forward or backward to unhinge its clip. once the light is out you have to kind of slide the rear deck forward to remove it. it is somewhat flimsy so dont worry about snapping it. installation is the reverse of the removal. let me know ifyou need anymore help.
