HOW to ....Make a Custom Seat

Hello ,
here a small tutorial for making a Custom Bike seat for this Bike .

The original seat wasen`t OK for me , so I tried to make something like this one .

On left the original

Than I made a higher backrest .

For the backtail I used sheet

The blue marked aera will be removed .

Like this

Copperwire is drilled for leathher imitation

and mesh is used for the reartail

The result

After that another drilled Wire was laid aroud the downside of seat .

a little black paint on the rear to bring depht in the mesh

With paint in lether

and finished is the custom Seat .
Thats my Result ,I hope you enjoy it
Regards Lutz

Hi Lutz,

Pretty impressive result... just the paint should be semi-gloss instead of flat (in my opinion).

regards,
Dan

Re: HOW to ....Make a Custom Seat

The semi-gloss paint looks much more realistic than the matt. It looks almost like real leather.
