Have CEL and Car stalling. PLZ HELP

Ok i have the check engine light on and i know the reason why there on.

1005 = egrc soleniod valve
0908 = Engine coolent temp. sensor
0304 = knock sensor

But i dont see why these codes would make my car idle really bad and stall out and not want to turn on right back up.
Is it possible for the Mass Air Flow sensor be bad and not trip a CEL code?
I ask because i disconnected it and the car stays on and does'nt even feel like its gonna stall and i heard that it should.

Well Thankx in advance for any/all help.

- it may be so if/as Idle is erratic. That code bunch likely indicates that ECU is clueless.
- Other Bad Idle sources: minuscle air leaks on hoses, sticking IACV valve, bad coilpacks/plugs
- do tst the valve by directly driving it with +12V from batt & test the EGR coolant temp sensor resistance. Refer to page9 below, seek the actual resistance value for your model via links on that page...
- start all by measurin charge voltage

I have Seen on 95 Max's the EGR system getting Cloged up withy Carbon build up .. You need to take some piping off and clean it out , not the EGR Valve it's self ..if i remeber right , take the pipe off with the EGR sensor and thats wherer most of the build up will be.. gl

- havent seen any, but as said, check the links for your manuals
- the 'only problem' comparing to -95 is location, systems functionally almost equal - except ign
- any workin solenoid has at least two wires, typically measurable resistance under 100ohms.

Live Test: Disconnect, Ground one solenoid input terminal, give +12V to second terminal =solenoid clicks if ok. See diagram below for ECM/IgnSw -wire inputs.
- ECU can only detect current draw from solenoid and 'report' a preprogrammed code. If the code is real (I dont think so) then either wire loose/cut or solenoid winding broken. The mentioned possibly dirty valve is driven by this vacuum controlling solenoid. (On -95 theres the also EGRC-BPT valve)

Yes please check you MAF sensor. Mine was doing the exact same thing. In fact at one point in time my car threw 12 different codes...that's right...12. Then there were other times that it would not throw a code at all. After replacing everything that I could think of including the ECU and ECM. I finally replaced the MAF which took care of the problem.
