Y87 Package
This along with T-Tops is the only thing my car lacks option wise..what was included in the Y87 package?

The Y87 3800 V6 Performance Package upgraded the vehicle with Zexel-Torsen posi-traction differential (same differential used on V8 models), a dual outlet muffler, a quicker 14.4:1steering ratio (same ratio as V8 models), 235/55-16 tires. The Y87 package also gave automatic cars 3.42 rear gears, whereas the manual cars but kept the 3.23 rear gears.

My car has 3.42 RWD gears though..

Ohh, gotcha. I thought you were originally asking about the Y87 because your car came with that package. I assumed yours was since it has the ground affects kit and dual exhaust already.

So why do i have 3.42 and dual exhaust but no Y87 rpo code? Does that switch in the car for LSD come with y87?

Ah, you must have the W68 performace package. It's a step below the Y87, comes with just the ground effects and dual exhaust.

The w68 wasnt a performance package. Its just the appearance package which is JUST the little "body kit" on the sides, front and rear

But it is semi-performance.. because the W68's do come with the dual exhaust setup that you've got. At least every W68 I've seen at least.

Wow i didnt know that..Also it does say GU6 on my door so i definetly have 3.42's right? Its not like they could accidently put GU6 when i dont have it correct?
