Re: Pic of the week

The Hellcat isn't for everybody...it's a badass, purpose built machine...there's not a damn thing there that doesn't do something to make it run, stop, or ride better, or compliment the rider's skill...you're lucky you get a seat...almost considered non-essential...

Love it or hate it, it a stong depiction of the motorcycle in it's most visceral form...a motor with wheels, nothing more...

Either way, that is an interesting configuration, doesn't help much to enhance the aesthetics.

A true bone stock m/c is a bicycle with a single cylinder 2-stroke motor, and then it needed the upgrades to run reliabily for daily transportation duties. On top of that, it needs good going and stopping power equivalent to cars, and at some point, m/c transcended the abilities of ordinary cars in a cheap package - sportbikes.

And it seems that bike is packed with more techs than the typical chopper.

It's a good looking bike, but I just wanted to offer my view on that statement, that's all .

I agree, it looks like crap...but so does the whole bike, IMO...put there is a strange beauty in cold functionality, sometimes...

Re: Pic of the week

Hmm..

Normally I like bizarre and out of the ordinary bikes, but this one just looks like it's trying too hard. Looks like the designers found an encyclopaedia of gimmicks and tried them all.

John Britten designed a bike along those lines 15 years ago it blew away the competition in the races it participated in
