1998 Honda Accord Ex Front End Grinding Noise
Hello,
I own a 1998 Honda Accord Ex with 183,830 kms on it. As I slowly accelerate, I hear a grinding noise coming from the front end but can't tell if it's on the driver's side or passenger's side. I also hear this grinding whenever I am making a left turn or a right turn. I would greatly appreciate your help and/or any feedback. Thank you, rokhill Last edited by rokhill; 08-03-2006 at 05:13 PM. Reason: add words |

Re: 1998 Honda Accord Ex Front End Grinding
I'd first check your CV joints. Jack up your front wheels one by one, and rotate the wheel by hand with the car in neutral. You may be able to hear the grinding. If the boots are torn or leaking, you've probably found your problem. Otherwise, a grinding noise is the bearings a lot of times.....hope this helps...Glen
