Basically, my 91 ford escort has ran beautifully up until three day ago. last week parked it in my parking garage and didnt drive it for a day, the next thing i know im starting it for work and it wont start. it shakes and sounds like its going to turn over but cuts off. all electronics work, tried tapping starter (i think) with a hammer. but no go. if anyone can refer an auto mechanic thats considerably cheap and will make a home stop in tempe that would be nice. im thinking that its minor since its sooo close to starting but im completely illiterate when it comes vehicle repair. thanks for the time.

fuel pump under rear seat. have it checked.timing belt when was the last time you had that checked/changed. nothing cheap about a mechanic or a car that needs one. good luck
