wierd problem

I just started experiencing a minor problem with my computer when I signed on for the first time today. Whenever I click the little down arrow next to the back button( green arrow under 'File') an empty box appears instead of the previous web pages I have viewed. When I place the cursor over this empty box, the wording starts to appear as I move it around the box. I noticed the same holds true if I right click on my mouse. Another empty box appears, and the words that are supposed to be there don't appear until the cursor moves over that particular area. I noticed this is only happening with my I E browser, and not the Mozilla browser. Has anyone ever experienced something like this? What could be causing it, and how can I correct it? Thanks in advance.

Re: wierd problem

Crazy Microsoft bugs. If you're running IE6, unfortunately there's not much to be done because they aren't developing it any further.

If it's under IE7, you can report the bug to the beta team (try and take a screenshot for them).

Re: wierd problem

That's happened to me before - don't know why it happened but removing/reinstalling IE fixed it.

Re: wierd problem

UPDATE. The problems seems to have "disappeared" when I signed on today. I'm going to chalk it up to one of the idiosynchrasies of IE.
