Shift Stabilizer snapped

So this really sucks, my stabilizer snapped the other night while I was coming up an off-ramp. I wasn't even rodding it or anything. it broke on the back side about 1 1/2 inches from the gearshifter, wasn't on the welds just broke the bracket. I went to the Ford garage here and its gonna cost $282 for the whole assembly cause it is all one peice. And I was wondering if anyone makes a better or aftermarket assembly. If no one does than I was just gonna get the stock replacement and put the urethane bushings on it. -Allen

and i know they make ES shifter busings, never heared of Shift stabilizer
