Search n00b! If you have to ask, the answer is no. Someone with enough know how and money to do so wouldnt need to ask anyone.

There is a thread about this on tuners I believe. It might be easier to fit than the eclipse turbo engine but evo motors are expensive.

Yeah, I dont know. The Evo's are 7 bolts though.

Yeah all the evo's have 7 bolts....I dont think mitsubishi ever even came out and said what caused it.....probably because they dont know...

In a nt eclipse the engine sits on the opposite side compared to the turbo so an evo motor would fit easier.

Its not going to happen. Think that 420a tranny is going to bolt up? Nope, neither will a FWD GST tranny. So that means you have to put in the Evo tranny, also a shit ton of money, so then you either get to ghetto the tranny/t case to be FWD or make it AWD (also an load of money). Then what if the drive axles dont line up just right like they most likely wont. This swap is next to impossible for the common DIYer.
