Bad Problems

In every gear except reverse Between 1000 and 2000 rpms If I push the accelerator, the car will accelerate and then cut off and then accelerate again, so it is a jerky motion.

Its like it cuts out then goes back on... IN EVERY GEAR!!!

what could this be????

I have a 1996 mitsu spyder gs eclipse with about 110 K on it now.

hit me back. I will be out of town until monday.

Re: Bad Problems

I dont know what you are talking about. Does it continually jerk or just one?

Re: Bad Problems

I notice my car does about the same thing, but only really after I drive it hard. i have a 98 gst and after I really get on it(race) it drive funky for a while. but i notice its only in the 2k-3k range. It will drive and stutter a little bit to a lot when in that range, whether im at full throttle, half, or no throttle and winding down. if i put it in neutral it stops and idles ok.
