Problem With Radio

Ok just put in a new head unit in my girls 95 cav. auto. Ok used my test light to find powers. And did try and error on the speakers, Jack ass before cut clips out thats why. So dont tell me to get the harness... But yeah get it all hooked up everything works great. still two wires left a thick brown one witch i though was power the second i saw it. and i think a green wire not sure no grey. Ok so yeah test it out fine but the next time she drives it the gauge lights like warnings come on and off for a second then today when she goes to work the speedo stops and so does the water temp what the fuck happend. I was told nothing runs through there. Please help

Re: Problem With Radio

Yeah, sounds like the previous owner screwed around with the radio or something, might wanna have a car electrician look at it.

Re: Problem With Radio

The water pump and speedo are not related to the stereo nothing like that runs through the stereo on 99 and below.

Re: Problem With Radio

Yeah i was told nothin runs through the radio. The speedo and the warning lights came back on yesterday while i was driving. So im guessing just a loose connect when i tore it all out. Ill mess with it and if it dont work ill take it somewhere. But that brown wire i have left is like a 8g wire or something. My speakers are working just fine all hooked up to the right ones to so i dont know youngchuck. The last owner messed it all up i guess. Thank you very much you three.
