Latest Project!! -- R32

Hi folks..
Started on my BMW320i... got the body screwed up. Just stripped the paint, and airing it... Been boring... so started on my next kit... the R32.

So far, the body has been primed, and engine finished 60% done. The wheels are done, and it's gonna be stock, Black with Gun Metal Rims.

Sorry about the lousy pic. Will post more.

Shots of the engine.

Shot of the rims.

Will post more pics when I have more time. See'ya.

Just an update on my R32. Got the body sorted out. The engine bay is completed. The interior is done in 2 tone color. Give'me ur comments..

Pics of the interior. The 3 dials on the centre console is a pain to put on.

I like the engine and have a quik question. When u put together the engine, is it almost the same as real life? in other words do u learn the engine configuration just with that model?

Well, what you put together in the model car is only the exterior of the engine. The interior is 100.. perhaps 200 times more complicated.

But putting the model engine together will give u an idea of what's under the car's hood. You can learn or know the basic exterior part of the engine at least.

I would say that the suspension of most tamiya car can give a clear idea of the real car's actual suspension system...

Hey man. Looks good so far, but you've got a long way to go. Detail the steering wheel too. Don't just leave it flat. Its begging for some carbon fiber decals. :bandit:

Umm... good idea.. I will look around to see what spare decal I have... Thanks for the comment.

The paint I used is Tamiya German Grey. I think it is XF-63??? Can't remember... but I know it's German Grey.

Thanks for the comments.
