Have few questions about 2002 Lincoln LS

The back glass looks foggy. I thought it was just a dirty window but I'm thinking it's more like bad window tint. What do you think is this a common problem.

When I bought this car it only came with one key and one key fob. Does anyone know how to program a new key and key fob? The dealer wanted about $80.00 for a key and to program it, plus an extra $45.00 for the key fob.

I bought 2 keys off of ebay for $27.xx after shipping and $12.xx after shipping on a key fob. So for about $40.00 I'm hoping I can do this myself.(Of course with your help)

Re: Have few questions about 2002 Lincoln LS

Do you have the owner's manual for the car? If so, check in there, but starting around 1996 or so, many Ford Products require two programmed keys for the PATS system to program additional keys. If you only have one programmed key, you will likely need to pay the dealer or a locksmith to cut and program a second key for you. Once you have two programmed keys, you can program additional keys.

The steps to learn a the key fobs is also listed in the owner's manual.

If you don't have the owner's manual, you can download it at no charge from the Lincoln website.
