'89' Lxi black box
Does anyone know what that 4" by 3" black
box is for on the firewall about midway there is a toggle switch and an odd looking green light mounted on the steering colum on the inside that appear to be connected to it, although they don't look factory. (89 Lxi EFI)

OH NO! DON'T TOUCH THE SWITCH!!
 Just kidding. It's after-market. And who knows what it's for. Probably an alarm/immobilizer.
