1/25 Revell, Plymouth Prowler + Trailer

Some times ago I started with klutz_100 “Mini Project a Pair of Prowlers”
Stevenski showed here his building progress, my is only available here.
My is finished, Stevenskis fly away /as I have heard/ and now needs a repair.
Painting.
Outside: Chrysler Prowler Purple + 2 Pack Clear Laquer – both by MCW (hiroboy.com)
Interior: Model Master + Revell + flock Deatil Master
Engine: Gunze + Model Master
Frame: Model Master + Alclad2 (first experiences)
“Extras”:
- air valves made by myself
- some wirings in engine bay
- very light wash at engine an gearbox (first time)
- wirings at trailer
Generally project OOB.
A few things is missing like for example pipes supports in engine bay.
Here some pictures:
Interior, engine and chassis:

General look:

Two of my favorites perspectives of this car:

Set car+trailer:

Some plays with polarizer:

At the end general look at black background:

Wow, that sure is some clean and fantastic building skills you have. The finish is beautiful. Interior and engine bay are perfect.

Not the biggest fan of the Prowlers, but that is a great job! I really like the flocking, good job on it!!! Paint looks flawless. Did you strip the wheels or is that stock chrome?

To tell you the truth i dislike prowlers very much, but your build looks like a super clean build. The paint is pretty much identical and shinnnny. Little detail here and there add to a great build!

Great work all around. Chassis looks clean intereior looks great. Paint looks absolutely flawless, waht a shine. Chrysler never painted thos bodies that well. Ive always liked the car, just wish it would of had a better(read more powerful) engine in it. Keep up the good work

Boah, great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful interior w/ flocking, superclean paint.

As you did a great job at the underside it might have been an good idea to fill the bumpers

Good job. I love those cars; they look great in a metallic red-orange.

Re: 1/25 Revell, Plymouth Prowler + Trailer

This is a most impressive replica Perfect detailing, put it in the right setting and the photos would make you think it's real.

I have the same basic kit (though it's an AMT it is actually slightly better detailed than the Revell) and will eventually build it in one of the later color schemes (they did a couple 2-tones and a few limited colors).

Re: 1/25 Revell, Plymouth Prowler + Trailer

Thanks guys for comments.
Enzoenvy1 – the wheels are In stock chrome, the same is with headlights and mirrors. I stripped only disc brakes. I’m really surprised how good the stock chrome is. The ends of exhaust were chromed too but molded awful so I made them of stainless steel pipe.
Andrew landon – the built was in two steps horrible: rear suspension (everything were curved) and the front suspension while connecting the chassis with the body (separately everything fit quite OK but altogether not) – the rest were quite nice.
Sportracer02 – I though about fill the bumpers but I didn’t have good references photos.
ZoomZoomMX-5 – Klutz_100 is trying to finish his Prowler by AMT so I hope soon you will have something to compare. The two tone scheme are nice especially red-black(top) but next one, if I build next one, I will use a resin bodies that are available at ebay.com and paint with some flames.
