Question Explorer Radio Got Rained On...

HI.
MY HUSBAND LEFT THE SUN ROOF OPEN, AND THE INTERIOR GOT WET.
EVERYTHING WORKS FINE BUT THE STEREO. THE RADIO WORKS, BUT THE SPEAKERS DO NOT PLAY. THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKS IS THE REAR SUBWOOFER. IT'S BEEN A FEW WEEKS. I THOUGHT IT WOULD COME BACK AFTER IT HAD DRIED BUT IT DIDN'T. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS ON WHAT IT COULD BE, AND HOW CAN I FIX IT??

Re: Explorer Radio Got Rained On...

Electronics are very sensitive to moisture and moisture and power can cause the circuit boards to fail. I would say the Radio is toast. Speakers don't go out becuase of moisture usually and they prob did not even get wet. You can find a cheap a replacement radio on ebay if you want to keep it stock or go ot circuit city and have them install you one.
