Question 2000 Venture Fuel Capacity & Fuel used Reset?

We just picked up a 2000 Venture van and I want to know how big the fuel tank is in it,

Also Ho do you reset the Fuel used on the overhead console?? I filled it back up but it didn't reset...

If you look at the manual, it will tell you how to reset. But basically, when you are on the display you want to reset, you press and hold both buttons for a few seconds.

I believe the tank is about 25 gallons.

Do you have an owners manual? If not, I believe if you go to the GM owners site, you can register and get a .PDF version of the manual.

Good luck...Glen

Did they increase the size of the tank over the years, or offer a larger optional tank? I believe my 1997 is only 18 gallons,it is an extended version as well, (I know it's listed in the owners manual, but I don't have access to it right now to check.)

Glen is right about resetting the computer. Just press & hold BOTH buttons for about 3-5 seconds to reset whatever is being displayed.

My 2001 manual says 2 different tank sizes are available:
20.0 Gallons for "Standard Length" van
25.5 Gallons for "Extended Length" van

Take Care,

My 1997 Extended Venture has a 25 gallon tank, according to the owner's manual - I know we have put up to 22 gallons in when refilling (too close for my comfort!).
