|
how much tranny fluid after gasket change?
Hey I had a gasket blowout and I do not know how much trans fluid I am supposed to put back in!! Could anyone help me?
It is a 99 Alero with a v6 3.4 !

It could be somewheres around 6 - 7 quarts. But to be sure the level needs to be checked properly. On the passenger side of the transaxle housing is an inspection plug to check ATF level. It is adjacent to the oil pan drain plug.
