Short Shifter question...

With all of this talk about them I am thinking of now getting one. I will either go with Neuspeed or Hurst. Now I will get a new shift knob to. Either an RSX 5spd or ITR knob (is that 5spd also?), and real ones, not fake.

My question is that I see pictures of shifters with 2 metal bars attaching to them. I think those are for VWs and not Honda cuz my stock one doesn't look like that but I figure they put the same picture on no matter what car it's for. Is that safe to say?

Anyone have pictures of real ITR knobs?

And does the Neuspeed kit come with the Poly bushings or do I need to get whored for that also? Cuz if it's not included I will just get Hurst and buy Poly bushings as I doubt the real difference of Neuspeed and Hurst is that much.

Any info is appreciated.

the two metal bars might be for the automatice qucik shifters? not sure though. i got my hurst for 65 bucks and the bushings for 12 bucks. and i am sure that there is hardly a difference between hurst and neuspeed. i think the neuspeed might be cut lower but i don't want to have to reach for the shifter. the hurst is bent in towards you which brings it a little closer at a stock height. i will let you know how my install goes on it tonight after work.

p.s. the rsx knob might look funny cause it has clips on the bottom of it to hold the stock rsx shift boot in place...my 2001 shifter is the same way...but i guess you could always cut them off.
