'99 Accord Side Mirror replacement

The side mirror (driver side) on my '99 Accord vibrates a lot when I drive on the highway. It is a folding-type (power) side mirror and everything works fine except that the spring action that holds it in place when it is not folded does not work anymore. The Honda dealer here in our area would like to charge me $350 to have it replaced!

There are several online stores that sell replacement mirror assemblies but I could not find a source for instructions on how to replace it. I was wondering if any of you can give me a quick step-by-step instruction or a link where I can find instructions on how I can replace my side mirror. $350 sounds pretty steep to me for something that looks like a 20-minute job. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: '99 Accord Side Mirror replacement

You can go to a junk yard and tear apart any car you want and learn how things are assembled. I am pretty sure this is a simple matter of a losen screw.
