Car Stereo

I have a 2001 Nissan Sentra, and am looking to replace the stereo/radio. I am just wondering if this specific stereo will be compatible with my car.

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=15494

Will it properly fit, or what accessories do I need for it to fit if it doesn't?
Help is much appreciated.

Re: Car Stereo

you need an install kit and harness adaptor for your car. both can be had at any decent car audio store or like best buy or ultimate electronics.

shouldnt cost more than like $15 each

Re: Car Stereo

what sideways said is about right. btw, make sure that the stock deck brackets fit that deck, otherwise have fun watchin your new deck just fall back into the dash. i learned that the first time. you would also be able to easily steal your new deck as well, by just pulling out 2 panels with ease. the one right by the cup holders in front of the shifter, and the one that goes over the heat/ a.c knobs.

Re: Car Stereo

things u need:
wireing harness
the cd-dash kit
2 inch long screws

ill take some pics for u, should be pretty easy. i diddnt do the wiring for the harness, but i did remove the stock radio. should be pretty explainitary. dont really need a pic for it though. the panel in the middle of the dash, right under the ac and heat controls is a hole ususally for a 6 disc cd changer. grab that panel on the passenger side or the driver side and it should come right off. after that just remove the black panel over the ac and heat controls and presto! there is the stcok radio to remove. it really wasnt a big deal for me since my radio diddnt have brackets on it. just remove te radio from the brackets and thats basically it. stick the aftermarket radio in, screw the kit onto the ac panel you took off, and place the cd changer panel back in. end of instalation basically.

Talking Re: Car Stereo Install 95 Sentra

The removal of the door panel on my 1995 Sentra is giving me trouble. Any info as to how to remove it ? It is a manual roll up window, too. Thanks

Re: Car Stereo

experence, lol. its my car. honestly, its not hard to remove the sentras stock deck for anything. but who wants that crappy thing?

removale of door panel...

idk how it would go for the 95, but id assume u take off the manual roll up part. then there are at least 3 screws in the door. 2 near the bottom of the dorr, and 1 by the middle pillar when u open the door. after those are removed, u can open up the door handle in the door, pop it open with a screwdriver(it wont hurt it) and there are 2 more screws in there to remove. after that its basically a unsnap the plasic 'screws' or fastenors (or w/e they are called) and the door should become really loose. basically push the door from the bottom up and it should move not really easily, but its not hard. thats basically it.
