negotiating tactics
i'm going to go see a used 2002 wrx with 47,000miles on it going for $13,500 because the car has been keyed and had some slight paint damage. When i called the owner he said he's been getting some great offers for the car b/s, the price is already below kbb so i don't know how to negotiate. and was wondering what are some negotiating tactics to use when buying a car and in my situation. thanks

Re: negotiating tactics
you only really negotiat if you think that is over priced etc but you could just make him a offer offer him 12k for it

Re: negotiating tactics
Act like you don't need the car or else he'll go higher. Remember that he wants your money, not that you want his car. Play it smart

Re: negotiating tactics
He may be getting great offers, but the car isn't sold, is it. Don't fall for that old line.
