What are these holes for.. (3rd gen question)
I have an 1984 z28 and there are 2 sets of holes drilled in the rear tail light assmebly that look like they might be factory drilled becuase they are fairly lined up on both sides, im just wondering what they might have been there for, is there a piece of something somebody removed before i got the car, or what... here are some pictures...
![]() ![]() You cant really see the second picture that well, but the same set of holes is drilled on the other side on the other tail light assembly. |

They might be for tail light covers.. they are not factory btw.. thats the first third gen ive seen like that.
Here's an old pic but you can clearly see that I dont have em on mine..

yeah not factory, rallys guess of tl cover is probaly what they were for
