Update on my situation

Well, the car still has a leaky headgasket. It has been running like a champ latly. Although, I am very pissed at advanced auto parts(again). My car stopped overheating. This leads me to believe that the brand new thermostat that I put in like 2 days before the hg blew was defective. I figure it was stuck and causing my car to overheat which led me to blow the hg. I figure it popped open now and that is why it doesn't overheat...w/e I got fucked.

Anyway I finally found 2 beaters. I found a 200sx with an R title and only 120k miles on it for 700 bucks. I drove it and it drives like a champ. I also found a crx for only 800 bucks. I am going on vacation till friday but, when I get back I should be getting one of them(not sure which yet). As soon as I get the beater my car is getting parked for awhile...

I e-mailed www.ffwdconnection.com about building me a head(ported, cams, etc). They say they are not grinding on heads anymore but, I'm trying to find out when they will start again. So I'm still waiting on that. There is also a guy near me who builds race motors for a living. He told me that he will build my head for me decently cheap and I could just order all the stuff I want and give it to him and he can port and install everything for me.

So as of now I am just waiting on getting the beater. Then I can start giving my car some tlc and hopefully a good bit more horsepower.
