Paint Advice
hello everyone i will be going to autozone tomorrow to pick up supplies and i was wondering if any of you know if autozone or any store for that matter supplies any spraycans close to this color? I believe the color is dark metallic red, but it seems kind of like a candy color.
![]() I am open to all paint types lacquer, enamel, acrylic..etc.

I'm agree!...try Model Car World paints. Look for Burgundy color either lacquer or enamel. They carry both. It's real close
Good luck! Quote:

Re: Paint Advice
Jaguar used two MICA reds on the XJ series in this period:
Flamenco (paint code 765) or Morroco red (paint code 778) Both require a very dark (almost black) primer. Hope this helps. Paul. |
