U-Bend delete

I am thinking of getting a u-bend delete for my 01 Monte ss, i found one on ebay but it has two different kinds. I was wandering which one does my car require the 8" or the 10" and how much should an install cost?

Re: U-Bend delete

Care to educate me? What is a "U" bend on a Monte? Coolant? Exhaust? Intake duct? What?

I'm guessing it's like a "Lid" on an F-Body. If you don't know what it is, you don't know what it is....

Re: U-Bend delete

The u bend is made for the O2 sensor and it restricts airflow pretty badly. I didnt know they made the u bend on the 6th gen. Coolant is in the radiator to cool your engine. Exhaust is where the burnt oxygen and fuel goes through along with quieting it. The intake duct is the tube that the air filter goes from into the engine. You should do a little reading around thats pretty standard stuff. Im sorry i cant help you on the U bend size
