1991 Rodeo Performance Exhaust???
Hi there,
Im new to the forum, and have a question about the exhaust on my 91 Rodeo. It has the 3.1 motor. I was quoted 375 bucks for parts and labor for total exhaust overhaul minus the Cat. Converter. Anyways, that was probably a quote with all OEM parts, and, i was thinking about getting a performance muffler of some sort, but since its a center muffler im probably screwed. OEM price for my muffler alone was 85 bucks. I can get a pretty gosh darn good muffler for 85 bucks if it would work. I just dont want the muffler repair guy to look at me like a lunatic if i bring in some muffler that wont work on my rodeo. So, anyone know what will work? THanks, Kaya |

Re: 1991 Rodeo Performance Exhaust???
I got a Flowmaster 50 series put on mine. Dual Exhaust, single muffler. It had to be done custom, and cost about $400.
So for the price, I would defenetely go for the Flowmaster.

Re: 1991 Rodeo Performance Exhaust???
Well i went and talked to the guy at a different shop.
For under 300 he will custom fit a Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow, and redo the whole exhaust from the manifold back. He will also place the exhaust pipe to come out over closer to the tire than where it was stock. So today i picked up the muffler for $75 shipped (CHEAPER THAT OEM REPLACEMENT), and it will be installed and repaired when i go out of town on Friday. Im pumped. -kaya |
