Exclamation Pt Engine Problem

I have a Chrysler cirrus 2000 that was in a accident about 3 months ago and a pt touring Ed thats engine is thrash. So my question is can the engine from the cirrus (2.5 v6) be put into my 2002 Pt? (The Pt was set up to have the largest engine they come with in it.)

Re: Pt Engine Problem

first question being that you looked at both cars engines good. did you ever try taking out a power steering pump from a PT ? 4cyl..... I would grab the tape measure and phsical demensions before mentally trying to figure it out on paper. those v-6 barely fit into the bigger framed cars. just my thought.

Re: Pt Engine Problem

No......... It will not fit in the engine compatrment unless you're REAL creative with a large hammer and a cutting torch.
