Talking HIN - Chicago... Drift!!

Wow.. just wow. I just came back from Hot Import Nights Chicago. It was at lovely Soldier Field (Da Bears) parking lot. It was 94 degrees with a heat index of hot as hell. It was awesome. There were a lot of DSMs, EVOs, the famous Skyline from TopSpeedChicago. It was all so hot. I must say though, I think my car looks better and has more mods than some of the people there. I've got a lot of pics, but just not with me.

The main thing with this show (besides the Ying Yang Twins : ) was live drifting. They had a little course set up and this one drift team with 3 cars, a 240sx, some other car which I can't think of right now, and a S2000 all drifting. My god it was so beautiful. They changed tires after every run and had huge canistors of race gas (which I tried to steal me some ). There was too long of waits between shows but it was well worth it. They ran over a couple cones, but no one hit anything. I will post pics of as soon as I get them back to me. This was great fun.

Drifting isn't too bad.. just grab yourself a RWD vehicle and watch some Initial D haha jk

At times I wish that people would stop demonstrating drifts at public events just so it's not so played out.. but I'm such a hypocrite when I watch in awe and perticipate in them haha.

I agree, let's see some pics! Any other cool drift cars?

Re: HIN - Chicago... Drift!!

Also drove this one kid there to the show. He's used to riding in Mustangs. He said my car has "mad balls." Oddly enough, he's the 4th person to say those exact words about my car. He was actually telling his friend (who drives a 95 mustang, cams, exhaust, intake, auto) that I would beat him. I know I would lose, but I just stood there with all the confidence I could and say yeah i can. Dude in the Mustang won't race me now bc he thinks his ass will get handed to him. He loves my car too, the looks, the SAFC (kinda weird), and just everything.

Re: HIN - Chicago... Drift!!

You should all move to Chicago. We can all live in a gated-community that is strictly DSM. I'm up for it... anyone else?

You have no idea, try northern minnesota. We have walmart, a rediculously overpriced bowling alley, and like 4 miles total of cruisable road. It blows.
