Donut journey

I recently got a flat on my nissan 240sx, which I pulled over and took about 15 minutes to change to the donut. Last night, I put over 100 miles on it and some of it was in the rain, and at high speed. With a donut you lose so much control of the car but I have to admit, that was stupid fun.

It started out as some friends asking me to join a volleyball tounament ( I never played before) and then I had to pick someone up and he wanted me to pick someone up and before I knew it, I was driving all over the place on this spare tire, especially on the expressway. It was all worth it when one of the girls I work with thanked me for driving everyone. Thanks to the donut!!

Re: Donut journey

Have you ever driven 100 miles on a donut? A small thin temporary replacement tire?

Unless she gave you a hummer, I couldn't see it being worth it. Driving 100 miles at high speed in a doughnut you arn't supposed to exceed 45mph in, could have wrecked your car! Not to mention all the gas you spent.

LOL

Actually speaking of doughnuts, I blew out a tire today as well! I only drove about 10 miles on mine though.

I know what a donut is.. but im saying you going around for 100 miles, and especially at high speeds is an unnecesary risk.

Re: Donut journey

What gas? I still have some left and I've been driving all week to work. I'd say I made out okay.

The thing is, I had no choice and I really wanted to go, so I went, and I survived. And that's the donut journey, Had to be over 100 miles, today it had almost no traction. That's okay, i've still got 3 more wheels.

Now i've got the new 4th tire. Back to normal.
