Question What is your weakness?

What part of this hobby do you feel is where you still need to improve the most?

For me, I'm still having trouble with plain old painting. I have all the basics down, I just have to work on technique.... over, and over.... It's not so much polishing, I think, it's that I don't lay down the last coat of paint smooth enough and thick enough. I worry too much about paint runs...

hmmm.... I kinda got this whole genetic shaky hands thing, which is really bad when I'm tired so I screw up especially with glueing when I shake like that! :jump:

My weakest spot is probably getting the body smooth and shiny. I haven't been able to figure it out yet. Most of my models have a dull look with little shine.

Masking windshields, spraying metallizers, getting a smooth coat of paint from the airbrush.

Mine has to be applying myself to the task in hand effectively, i have so many projects started but not finished. My other weakness is doing too many models at once.

Kinda surprised I am the first to say this, but patience is my problem. It seems only about half of the projects I start ever get finished. And the ones I do finish, I usually start cutting corners towards the end so I can get to the next project. And, I keep buying more kits!!!!
I am hopeless.

1. I keep buying more than I can build.

2. I start three before I finish one.

3. Windshields.

4. Frustration when something doesn't turn out exactly the way I want it to (usually the clear gloss coat)

Too many kits, never finished, although I don't have a lot of free time to work on them, and I spend too much freakin' time HERE! That's it.
