Need CAD Freeware/shareware programme

Hi Gents,

Can anyone recommend a CAD programme suitable for designing parts that is freely downloadable from the web?

I'm cheap so I really don't want to buy anything.

Thanks in advance for your help as usual.

Stevenski

So Ilustrator is perfect for that: and if someone ask you an autocad file it shoul export in dxf and dvg. My lancia's set was designed in illustrator.

With trial's rino he could for sure save 25 NURBS body shells ready for 3d stereolitography prototipation, but he hardly could design a simple 2d grill
