fast ticking on left side of engine

Hi also just remembered another pesky anomaly of my car making a fast ticking, sound like it is on the left side of the engine. It has done this for the year and a half since I bought this car and hasn't gotten any worse but I am afraid with my car stalling from the previous thread I posted that maybe this could be the culpret for it stalling. 1992 ford probe lx with 3.0
