Thumbs up Just installed these goodies on my 3rd-gen.!

I recently ordered and installed a brand-new clutch-disc, pressure-plate, pilot-bearing, master-cylinder, and slave-cylinder in my FD3S.

The old clutch components were really worn. She drives so much better now. I can only imagine what these cars drove like when they were fresh outta the showroom with new engines, new turbos, and new transmissions!

I also changed the engine-oil, the differential-oil, and the spark-plugs.

... and acid washed the back of the wheels to get rid of those mineral-deposits:

Re: Just installed these goodies on my 3rd-gen.!

The next step in my RX-7 "restoration" project is to upgrade the already potent twin-turbo 13B to a turbo'd 20B or N/A 26B, but that will be later on down the road. She's currently running on a rebuilt motor with near perfect compression and sounds and runs great, so there really is no rush for me to replace the motor right now.

I'd keep the 13B. It seems like you car is nice the way it is.

Re: Just installed these goodies on my 3rd-gen.!

Keep the 13B an go single like me! I'm going for a T04-Z big boost but not alot of lag. A good 450 rwhp for cruising an turn it up to 650-700 for the track. Your layout looks nice as it is. (Lol you still got cruise control ~ Me too lol) I'm putting an Msd or Hks twin power iginition in.

Right now I Have Hks superflow intake, an a nice dual tip cat back. I also just through on the AST. I'm switching over to a lightweight high spark battery with nice Iridium plugs an 10 guage wire (should add a little power at high Rpm's. I'm also switching over to a competition Oil, 3 inch downpipe with a new 02 in the sucker for better response. A new single layer filters for faster intake. Over all I'm hoping to gain a 20-25 rear wheel with everything. Not expensive either maybe 400$ at most.

Yup the Z is supposedly able to push around 700 comfortably with a worked engine.
