Joined the 4G wrecker's club today - exit JDM EF9

Bus:1 , EF9:0

Thinking about keeping it and slowly restoring it and getting an EK4 VTiR as a driver. Will take pics when I can face up to looking at it in the garage - it's crushed to the engine.

That sucks, man. One of the only true EF9s on here too. Hope you're okay...

Finally got pics - had to shut the garage though, it made me pretty damn sad.

I'm seriously in 2 minds - sell it and see if someone else wants to fix it, restore it right now and go without transport, or get another car and restore it gradually. I have a feeling it's doable - just not sure yet.

how exactly did it happen? something with a bus? thats going to be a lot of work to fix, might be easier to weld an entire new bulk head onto the car.

Hey Setanta. Nice to see you around here again. Sorry about what happen. Atleast you're ok. That looks fixable to me. The engine looks ok but the frame is kinda makin me think twice if its worth the fix. Might have to check it out. Anyways welcome ...back?

Re: Joined the 4G wrecker's club today - exit JDM EF9

not so good looking :0(
if engine is untouched I would pick choice "fix it" in that case you'd need just exterior parts + radiator

sorry to see that

but as long as you're ok it's all good !

Re: Joined the 4G wrecker's club today - exit JDM EF9

damn mate

sorry to hear about this, at least ur ok though!

well in my opinion once you remove the headlights and bonnet you will be suprised how little damage has been done , my first crash looked the same and i straightened it out over a weekend,

definately do not sell it , look how much love and time you have put into it,

just a few bits (which i may be able to source for you) and you will be back on the road!
