My car recently got broken into. I had an aftermarket cd/dvd player and it got stolen. Instead of just unplugging the wires, they cut and ripped them out of my dash
. Now my entire dash will not wok. The odometer, gas meter, oil level, and message center will not work. I checked some of the fuses but I'm pretty much clueless on what to do next. Any suggestions??

Wow, that sucks! Sorry tohear about that...
Do you have insurance that would cover the damage? The best thing would be to take it into a profesional with a wiring diagram and have them sort out that mess. They could have damaged a lot of curcuits that would take you forever to track them all down... So soes the truck start and run OK still? I can't imagine driving it too long in that condition though...

Re: Entire Dash
I have insurance but they wont cover it. They said that its damage due to an aftermarket part. They fixed the window though. I recently went to a chevy dealer and they said that they had no idea what it could be. There rates were $80/hr and wiring would probably take forever. I may just have to bite the bullet. But the car starts and drives fine. I let you know how much it costs me. Thanks
