do people actually buy cars from ebay?

im looking for a used car and i was wondering if i should trust ebay. thanks.

i wouldn't trust ebay unless the seller leaves close to you becuase you never know the thing could need major work done to it or it could be in it's best shape of it life. personaly i would buy from there tough. i would not go any father then buying from like autotrader or cars.com

I've bought my third car off ebay last weekend - mine, wife's and now youngest daughter's. All purchased within the past 18 months.

Sure it's different than the traditional go to the lot and touchie feelie before buying experience BUT.........it's also 'different' saving well over $6500 (KBB Private Party Value) on those purchases too!
