please help/ANY INFO

My JDM CRX will not pass emissions. I changed cat, plugs. Everything else is good. I was running a spoon ecu and changed it for a 91 crx hf to pass. I know a person who did this and passed easily. I put some of that shit that says to add to fuel and it will help pass emmisions. There is still some in the tank. Could this of fucked me up? I am running an LS ecu. Will this help. I cannot get a pr3 or pw0 ecu. I have way too much CO2. ANY and all input please.

Re: please help/ANY INFO

i also just bought a jdm crx last sunday and failed my first time through. HC's were to high on the idle test and max allowable on the the driving test. I've adjusted my valves and changed my plugs and pcv valve. im going to try again on saturday. ill let you know what the results are. i cant tell from your post but did you go through with the hf ecu? did it help your readings? did you put in a new cat or get a used one? that should have cleared up the CO2. are you only failing on the CO2? I just checked my ecu and its a pw0 any one know whrere the pr3 is from?

Re: please help/ANY INFO

I had the cat changed to a new one, had the spark plugs changed, had all the rest of the ignition checked out and fuel pressure checked. I was running a spoon ecu and so that is why i tried the 91 hf ecu. I also put in some stuff from autozone that is supposed to reduce emmisions. Well the car ran horrible and i failed twice as bad as before. I am going to go through the rest of my tank of gas and put a new tank of gas without the additive and try a 90 ls ecu. The car runs way better with the ls ecu. It also runs alot smoother than the spoon ecu. Not as much power but cleaner, if that makes sense.

Re: please help/ANY INFO

well, i passed and with flying colors. I ran a 90 ls integra ecu and ran all the emissions reducer additive out of my car and it was amazing how low the readings were.
