Hi everybody,
I just got back from a one week vacation and found that my Pontiac Grand AM -94 wouldn't start. When I turn the key, I hear a "duk-duk-duk" sound from the engine but it won't fire up. The lights in the car go on and the radio sounds weird. I tried to start from neutral but with the same result. The car ran fine before I left. Suggestions? Thanks, //M |

Re: Pontiac Grand AM doesn't start, help please.
Sounds to me like a dead battery. If it's really weak, it will have enough juice to power the dash lights, but the low current to the radio will make is sound weird and there won't be enough power to crank the engine, so all you may hear is the soleniod. Have you tried jumper cables yet?

Jumper cables worked like a charm. Thanks!
