same driver, the prelude will win. the prelude times are similar to an integra type R's time.

The Prelude would, even though it's a little heavier it does have a 20 pony advantage over the GSR and loads more Torque

2001 Prelude 5-speed gets from 0-60 in about 6.7, according to the stickers.
The Type-SH supposedly does 7.1, but I think that number's a bit quicker than reality shows.
The Integra GS-R is stickered at 7.1 or 7.2, depending on who you ask.

Notes:
* The Prelude's stock tires are MUCH better than the Integra's stock tires. If the teg replaces its tires with good ones, that could easily change the race.
* My personal experience racing against Prelude 5-speeds makes me seriously doubt the 6.7sec 0-60 being claimed. With stock tires, 100 extra pounds, and a CAI, my GS-R has never been beaten by any prelude I've raced. Maybe I've raced a bunch of people who can't drive, who knows.
* For additional reference, the 2000 Civic SI claims to get from 0-60 in 7.1 seconds, stock. Hah! Funny!

In the end, I'd say a 5-speed 2001 prelude with a good driver should beat a 98 teg GS-R with an equally good driver, provided both are bone stock. Change the tires on the cars and the race will be very different.

If both cars were stock, you'd walk all over a celica gt - they're not that fast, i had one. With all those mods though, you better handle your cousin, cuz you've got a way faster car.

celica gt = integra ls

celica gts = integra gsr

any variable on any car would change the race. and if we all did that, there should be no reason to ask which is faster stock because after that, it all depends up to the driver. to make it fair, add better tires on the lude also. i'm not being baised

also, don't worry about the V6 camaro's. the rival V6 mustang times (1/4) are almost the same as the honda accord V6. they are slow.

Integra

No way the prelude will win. I have personally raced one. I am in Aus and I drive an Integra VTIR(similar to the GSR I think). I beat it by about half - 3/4 car length up to about 100 kms.. then it just pulled away from me like mad.. so depending on circumstances.. The teg wins at the start but loses in top speed.

I'm sorry but i think the prelude is not what it is cracked up to be. At the drag strip i see them run low 16's with I/H/E . I have also never lost to one so I am pretty sure the gsr would kill the lude.
