stalling around 30-35mph

hey im 16 and got a 1990 buick century custom. it ren good for 3 daysthen it started stalling and wouldnt start. the starter was cracked. i replaced that and itstill stallsat like 30mph. i put a cherry bomb exhaust on because im 16 and its gotta sound cool. did that do anything to affect it or no. what should i try?

Welcome to AF!!

Stalling can be caused by a lot of issues. First, the crank position sensor can be going bad or is already bad. Second, check the wiring at the starter. There are fusable links that can go bad and not send power to the rest of the car. Third, check the fuel pressure at the regulator to see if the fuel pressure is correct for your engine. If it is too low it can cause stalling especially if you are trying to get up to speed. I hope this helps.
