any experience of getting rfurb?

hi, the amp i going to be getting is kicker 04KX600.1 but i can get a refurb one for $200 and a new one is almost $400 and i am going to be getting 2 of them for the duel l7's that i am going to be getting, and i was wondering if anyone has had any bad/good experience with refurb car audio. cause if i can save the money then i can get a pair of compenments for the front.

gotta be a reason it's a refurb ... either the orignal user abused it or it was defective from the get go. My only question is, are you SURE they fixed all the damage.

well it says it is ether. Open Box, Refurbished, or Used. have you had any or no anybody that had those amps? or the KX1200.1 one

This summer I bought 2 Kicker L5's off E-bay. They were both recons and they both had tight surrounds and they traveled smoothly. I don't know how speakers compair to amps but at a 3rd of the price of a brand new speaker I have not had any problems with my recons yet.

i bought a refurbished kenwood amp from www.discountjungle.net last november. havent had a prob yet. as long as u buy from a good company you can return it within 30 days.

well the amp comes with a one year warrenty from both where you buy it and from kicker

i'm with paul on this one to make sure i was getting a great amp i would get a new one never bought rfurb amp or subs but i did by an xbox that was suppossibly refurbished... it wasn't
