Re: need help with choosing a car

yeah uhmm the lotus was too big by about 300mm which is dumb.

so i ended up using a Dihatsu Copa(sp) and won it. but thanks for the Lotus tip, i like the car alot, im using the 90K one that you buy from the Classics menu, and the Ruf RGT is very very nice. ive got it pulling ~530hp using only N/A

I like the elise aswell. But the rx-7 is prolly the best street car in the game IMO.

Pretty much any high hp car will do the trick. (I think it has to have 493 hp right?)

I've done it with a Ford GT, a tricked out Skyline, and a Zonda. You have to balance power with drivability and handling though. I tried it with a RUF rgt (thats the awd one right) and it burned through the tires entirely too fast, so by then end I had no grip.

It's not too tough though, just get a good 500-600 hp car.

Re: need help with choosing a car

493hp limit? if i were you id used a fully built NSX. but the car which works awesome is the NSX-R GT prototype road car. its faster than the JGTC cars, and has 550hp stock.

Re: need help with choosing a car

I wanted to keep at least a little challenge. With an un-modded GT or Zonda it's kinda tough, so just weight stage 1, chip, exhaust, etc.

That NSX Prototype car is nuts though. I love how the NSX never seems to have ridiculous overtaking power, but you are always gaining on cars, even when they have more hp. The handling and power delivery is so smooth.

R34 M-spec NUR, you can get 913bhp out of it. it will destroy any competition.

Re: need help with choosing a car

yeah most cars can beat it, but the viper blows. use a car that handles.

you go to Nissan, and new cars... all GT-Rs are 4 wheel drive.

i made a mistake, the most power you can get from any GT-R in the game is 911bhp, from the R34 GT-R V-spec II Nur.

Re: need help with choosing a car

i used a viper, i als o used a ford gt, wen a car is at high power, over a thousand for the viper, u can't just use handling, use the good old bupm and run. if not, strait lines are ur best friend, the gt worked best, and was cheaper in the end, i tend to use cars that i can get a return on
