Question Looking for SC Grand Am's

Been looking for one of these Grand AMs for a year now and dont seem to find any around. Like they got sucked into some Vortex never to return

heres a pic of what I'm talking about.

Heres the Eaton Super Charger

If anyone knows of anybody that HAS or has Had one of these GAs I'd like to here about it.
Even some stories if you hav heard any.

I'd pay top dollar to get ahold of an original SC GA

Re: Looking for SC Grand Am's

Good luck on the search for a true SC G/a. The last i had heard was that it never was put into production or if it did there was very few made. They were supposed to make the sc/t g/a in 2000 or 2001 with the SC, which was never produced either until they made the hood and wing replica in 2003. I'll do some research and i'll find out what i can or if i can find one.

Re: Looking for SC Grand Am's

You know what these SC g/a's remind me of the elusive turbo charged g/a's for the late 80's which only in 87 they made a manny tranny for it? and they only made a complete handful of them due to some mechanical sychronization problem with the trans and turbo charged engine... not if this is true or not, i have no clue. And i've only found one of these type so far, and 1 pace car g/a... damn one of kinds cars!

Re: Looking for SC Grand Am's

I hav seen the 87' turbo GA. Been awhile back but they "were" out there.

Refering to the SC GA, I hav heard several stories that this guy knows this guy, bla bla bla

Just tell me where they live

One true story I had heard was a dealer in Washington(the state) had one in his Stealership, and his son had it at a later date and still does. Also thiers one in Mich somewhere(probly locked away somewhere safe).
Dont think I would drive to Washington for one, nor hav one shipped from thier.

I just though the SC was a great idea for the GA.
Hell Bonnevilles and Grand Prixs hav had them for years.

It is the same SC as RSM's SC kit. Just without the excess weight and the battery stays in front.

With the RSM you hav to move the battery to the trunk : what a pita !
